A total amount of 10 websites for Priority Areas and 2 for Horizontal Actions are now available from the EUSBSR website. Some more will be launched soon.

Seven new videos have been uploaded on the EUSBSR YouTube channel. Colin Wolfe, Head of DG Regio, addresses the developments of the Strategy on two of these videos. Moreover Priority Area 13 videos have also been made available. Access them by clicking on the YouTube icon under the section Social Media on the right column.

The purpose of the web site is primarily to spread the information about the EUSBSR among the present and future Polish stakeholders. The Polish NCP and the Ministry of Foreign Policy want to improve the visibility of the EUSBSR in Poland. The web page is conducted in Polish language.

The Commission has now provided translations of the new Communication for the EUSBSR. All different language versions are available in the zip-file attached to the Communication in the left-hand side under the Headline: Documentation


The Baltic Sea States Subregional Cooperation (BSSSC) has released its latest newsletter on opportunities in times of crisis. In this respect, the potential of green innovation in energy and water within the Baltic Sea Region is explained in detail. Download the full issue here.

Commissioner Johannes Hahn commented on the macro-regional strategies now and in the future, in a live web chat 26 March: "It is too early to judge the success of macro-regional strategies, and we are waiting to see the results of Baltic Sea Strategy and Danube Strategy. We expect that future programmes establish a clear link with the macro-regional strategies by focusing on investments needed to deliver these strategies".
